I'm running 64 bit Windows 7 Home Premium and have re-booted numerous times since the events took place. If you have duplicate messages (e.g. If need be, I don't mind paying for an app or add-on. So, I'm hoping someone knows of something that is compatible that I can do independently. I looked on the Mozilla add-ons page and didn't find another add-on for removing duplicate messages. Rolling back would be a pain since I don't know if the add-on will work with JAWS 18 or NVDA that I'm trying to learn and I'd have to get my tech to get the job done. ![]() I hoped that the app might be able to help again, but it seems that it only works up to something like Thunderbird 32. My skills or JAWS back then weren't up to the task, but my tech was able to get the add-on to work and the duplicates were successfully deleted. I have the remove_duplicate_messages_alternate_ add-on for Thunderbird that I got several years ago when my ISP apparently had a hiccup and a slew of duplicate messages landed in my TB folders and manually cleaning things up would have been a nightmare. I know how to do it manually, but an app or add-on would be a big time and sanity saver. The duplicate downloads have not happened again, but I was already behind reading e-mail and badly need to tidy up my folders. I am on a couple of high volume lists and we're possibly talking about hundreds of posts that need to be removed. A couple days later, I was in the account for my main e-mail address when several days of previously downloaded messages mysteriously landed in that account. Some time ago, I inadvertently hit the wrong keystroke that resulted in at least several days of messages that had previously been downloaded for my alternate Thunderbird account to be downloaded again. I'm hoping someone knows of an app or add-on that works with Thunderbird 52.3.0 to remove duplicate messages.
